Ramani joined Danforth in 2023 to lead the Development Strategy & Operations practice, which provides advisory, planning and operational oversight across all stages of development. She is an accomplished leader of life science companies with more than 25 years of experience and a track record of launching and growing organizations that integrate novel research, business and partnership strategies to develop innovative medicines and products with global impact. Prior to Danforth, Ramani was the CEO of X-Biotix Therapeutics, a company she co-founded, and previously held C-suite, strategy and business development leadership roles at Checkmate Pharmaceuticals, Avillion, RXi Therapeutics, Momenta Pharmaceuticals and Millennium Pharmaceuticals.
Ramani holds an MBA from Northeastern University, and an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and BSc in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University.
